About OneExpert

Built by people who have actually credentialed dentists.

OneExpert exists because dental credentialing is solvable, and every existing solution is one of two bad options: a portal that dumps PDFs on you, or an outsourced agency that disappears for ninety days. We built the third option — software that submits everywhere in parallel, plus credentialing experts who own every payer escalation by name.

How we work

Four principles every credentialing team should already follow.

  • Submit in parallel, not in serial

Most credentialing teams submit applications one payer at a time, then wait for replies before starting the next. We submit to every target network in parallel from day one — the median credentialing window across the top 10 US dental payers is 117 days, and serial submission stretches that to a year. Parallel submission is how a 90-day enrollment becomes possible.

  • AI fills the form. Humans handle the pushback.

AI is excellent at parsing CAQH, NPI, license, malpractice, and W-9 data and assembling a clean application. It is not yet good at negotiating with a Delta Dental network specialist who wants a primary source verification re-issued under a specific Bates label. That is what our human credentialing experts do — every escalation, every appeal, every follow-up.

  • Treat dental data like medical data

Dental practices store NPIs, DEA numbers, malpractice certificates, license scans, and government IDs. We treat them with the same security posture an EHR would — AES-256 at rest, TLS 1.3 in transit, SOC 2-aligned access controls, BAAs with every subprocessor, and HIPAA-compliant logging. Credentialing software shouldn't be the weakest link in your security review.

  • Track re-credentialing before the payer does

Re-credentialing windows are the #1 reason in-network dentists fall off panels — the payer sends a notice 90 days before, the office misses it, and the contract auto-terminates. Every OneExpert subscription includes calendar tracking for license, malpractice, DEA, and CAQH attestation expirations, with auto-resubmit when each window opens.

Domain expertise

Where credentialing actually lives.

Generic enrollment software treats every payer as a fillable form. Dental credentialing is full of payer-specific gotchas that only show up when an application gets returned. These are the areas we specialize in:

  • CAQH ProView attestation and the 120-day cycle
  • DHCS Provider Enrollment Application for Denti-Cal / Medi-Cal Dental
  • Delta Dental, Aetna, Cigna, MetLife, United Concordia, Humana, Guardian, Anthem network requirements
  • Type-1 vs Type-2 NPI differences and when each is required
  • Primary source verification timelines across payers
  • DSO multi-location credentialing operations and roster management
  • PPO vs HMO panel decisions and fee schedule implications
  • Re-credentialing windows, renewal automation, and document expiry alerts
  • Hospital privilege documentation for oral and maxillofacial surgeons
  • California, Texas, Florida, New York state Medicaid dental program nuances
